Saint Valentin Day´s / Día de San Valentín
This was a beautiful day to keep in mind because our Colsasabistas could learn and enjoy the meaning of this significant cultural, religious, and commercial day which is celebrated in many countries around the world, especially in those where English is the native language. Thus, our students could understand the values around these day and how love, friendship and love themselves is necessary and important in their life and personal relationship. Through a “mirror look”, creating and sharing postcards and fortune cookies designed in class they encouraged their partners to be the best and love each one as friends and classmates. This was a time to sweet and enrich the vocabulary learning and describe others positively in order to motivate them to speak and write in English even participate and act.
